New Century Kicks is a punk, new wave, jazz, sometimes country, and indie rock project, hailing from Nottingham. The band is a project for The Wizard King. A BBC Introducing played songwriter. The flowers and the weeds is an alter ego project for jazz, folk rock. He did not want confusion between genres on the BBC. His YouTube and Spotify use all his genres in one.
Blackadder began as a poet for Infinite 29 with Dr Ben Salmonds who created the “break the stigma” campaign in Bedford. He knew Jonny Benjamin of “Finding Mike” and has written 3 books of poetry. In 2020 at lockdown he got a feeling to write songs.
